Registering for Automatic-Updates

Your purchase of the Testimonial Rotator comes with a year of support and updates. To register for these automatic updates, please do the following.

Step #1 – Upload Your Theme Pack .zip File

When purchasing the Theme Pack you should have been able to download a zip file of the plugin or you should have received an email with a download link.

The Theme Pack is to be installed like any other WordPress plugin. Go to Plugins and then ‘Add New’ in the WordPress admin. Then upload the zip file and activate. (Video demonstration)

Step #2 – Add your License Key

In your WordPress admin, navigate to the Testimonial Rotator settings found under the Testimonials section.

The first setting should be a ‘Theme Pack Updates’ field. If you do not see this, then your Theme Pack plugin is not up to date or you do not have version 2.4 or later of the base Testimonial Rotator plugin.

Step #3 – Activate your website

Insert your license key in the field and then hit ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page. After the page reloads, you should then see a green activate button. This will assign the current website to your account.

Note: If you activate your development website, you will need to reactivate your live production site as well when you finally launch your site.

When the page reloads you should see a message that says your site has been activated.

There is also a deactivate button if you need to remove a site for any reason.
